My research has focused mainly on the Adams' traced back to Arthur Adams & Francis "Peggy" Horne from Wise, Virginia.

      Arthur (born 1789) and Peggy married in the year 1810. They eventually migrated to Big Blaine, Lawrence County, Kentucky around 1818. Arthur and Peggy farmed and raised 11 children. The data on this site, although extensive, focuses on the descendants of Arthur and Peggy's children. However, there are points in the Tree in which it stretches out farther than the immediate Arthur and Peggy branch. There are currently 1188 names and 194 different surnames stored in the database.

      I hope this information proves helpful for those visiting the site and wish them luck in their quest to find their ancestors.

      The information I've gathered has been obtained from several sources including E.J. Robinette's book, census,marriage,land and death records; internet sources and the greatly appreciated help from e-mail contacts through on-line forums and family members.
