Fanny A. Green

LAURELVILLE: Fanny A. Green, of Laurelville, Ohio passed from this earth on January 6, 2014.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by the many lives she touched with her love of God and compassion for others.

She was born in Circleville, Ohio on September 20, 1933 to Columbus and Meda (Roberts) Adams.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Ray, Mary, Junior, Betty, Butch and Sara Jane and the husband of her 4 oldest children, James F. Daubenmire.

In 1972 she married John L. Green and from this union a very special child, Karan A. Green was born. Karan and Fanny shared a special bond that will always be remembered.

Surviving are her husband, John Green; her children, Michael L. (Becky) Daubenmire, Deborah L. (Albert) Moore, Shirley J. (Scott) Noble, Barbara J. (Marty) Hutchins and Karan A. Green; grandchildren, Chelcey (Robert) Lewis, Courtney (Gary) Anderson, James M. (Erica) Daubenmire, Brad Downs, Amanda Moore, Shane Poling, Tyler Noble, Kohl Noble, Kaci (Chris) Chappo and Ashley Hutchins. Also survived by 14 great grandchildren; many nieces; nephews; and her loving siblings, Chris Adams, Sarah Lewis, Katheryn Shiltz, Curtis Adams and Alice Abner. Fanny had many special friends and neighbors, including many friends from area churches that she loved to talk with.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.

The family would like to thank the staff at Berger Hospital ICU and Dr. Bolaji for their compassion and grace during this very difficult time. We will always remember talks with our Mom about life, her strong willed courage and her love of God, family and friends. She will be forever in our hearts and forever missed.
